Kestra Medical Technologies, a wearable medical device company, was looking to fundamentally rethink how they showed up on the trade show floor to attract and sustain attention. For their show at American Heart Association Scientific Sessions (AHA), Kestra needed a partner they could trust to elevate the brand, spark genuine curiosity, and create an experience that stood out in a crowded and highly competitive environment. They wanted to break away from traditional presentation formats and create an experience that would immediately capture attention.

The Solution
Design That Draws People In
Rather than simply enhancing an existing booth, Elevation3D stepped back and reimagined the visitor journey. Guided by Kestra’s product story and strategic goals, the experience was intentionally designed to engage multiple senses. A rhythmic heartbeat audio element carried across the show floor, pulling attendees in before the booth even came into view. A sheer exterior treatment added a layer of intrigue, allowing light and motion to be seen from the aisle while offering a glimpse of what lay inside, inviting curiosity and encouraging attendees to step inside to discover what was happening.
Projection Mapping That Commands Attention
At the heart of the experience was large‑scale projection mapping that brought Kestra’s brand story to life through motion, depth, and sound. Projection content was mapped directly onto mannequins, placing the wearable medical device at the center of the visual narrative. Unlike standard projection or flat-screen displays, this approach allowed content to wrap around physical forms, creating dimensional storytelling. Visitors were fully immersed in the experience before being seamlessly guided into hands-on product interactions with the sales team.
Extending the Story Through Digital Content
To extend the impact beyond the show floor, Elevation3D integrated photography and videography into Kestra’s experiential marketing strategy. Executive interviews with the team, attendee reactions, and product storytelling were captured on-site and transformed into short-form video content. These assets supported broader digital marketing efforts and allowed the experience to be shared long after the event ended.
Evolving The Experience
As confidence in the event experience grew, so did the scale and scope. As the program evolved across multiple trade shows, Kestra’s footprint expanded from a 20’ x 20’ space to a 30’ x 30’ environment with hospitality elements such as a coffee bar introduced to increase dwell time and deepen engagement. Each iteration has refined the experience further, adding new layers of storytelling.
Through immersive projection mapping and intentional sensory design, Elevation3D helped Kestra shift from a traditional trade show presence to a destination that captured attention and encouraged meaningful interaction. At the core of this success was trust. Kestra granted Elevation3D the creative freedom to move beyond expectations for a medical trade show environment. That trust enabled bolder creative decisions, more immersive storytelling, and a willingness to continually raise the bar at every show.
